The BIG Event Guideline
Did you know 73% of all weddings take place between May and October? We have been getting a lot of questions lately with the most common being: “How do I get my skin wedding ready?”
Whether you're the one getting married, or your child is, or maybe you're in the wedding party or a guest...giving yourself ample time is crucial when preparing for the BIG day (or any BIG EVENT)! Below we put together a general guideline to help you!
General Guidelines:
6 months prior: Start an at-home regimen recommended by your provider to clear breakouts, diminish hyperpigmentation, etc…PLUS book out your monthly microneedling and facial appointments.
3 to 2 months prior: Filler appointments to ensure things settle in nicely and allow time for touch-ups, if needed. Continue microneedling appointments or definitely start now if you have not already. Also a great time to start doing some peels if that is what your provider recommends for you.
2 to 1 months prior: Neurotoxins like Botox and Dysport to relax wrinkles. This also allows time for touch-ups, if needed.
1 Month to 2 weeks prior: Time for one last microneedling session, peel, or any touch ups that might be needed. Also a great time to book an acne extraction with your provider or a facial with your favorite Esti (esthetician). P.S. Don't have a favorite Esti- no problem! We have some amazing ones we can refer you too!
Same week: Cortisone injections JUST IN CASE you have a cystic pimple to shrink it overnight.
