What does the program entail?

The program entails in house labs to determine if your body has an underline issue such as an issue with your thyroid or a hormonal imbalance that is impeding you from achieving your goals.  It also determines a foundation of safety prior to starting any medication.  It is set up to start off as a three month program but can be tailored to achieve your goals.  This includes a body scan to not just determine your weight, but also the amount of body fat and muscle masss to make sure you are maintaininng a healthy body.  We even provide resources for recommendations for mental health services and a registered dietician chef in case you need additional support.  

If prescribed, how long will I need to take the medication?

At Ananya Aesthetics,  though the programs starts at three months, we tailor your weight loss program prescription needs to achieve your individual weight loss goals.  and the duration of your prescription iwll be determined accodingly by your provider.  

Who can take weightloss medications?

To determine if you are a good candidate, our providers will first order a comprehensive lab panel to address any underlying causes that may be preventing you from losing weight. We will also go over any contraindications that may disqualify you from taking any weight loss medication. Please let your provider know if you are currently on any weight loss medications or supplements, have kidney, heart, or liver problems, or are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, and/or breastfeeding.

What is Semiglutide and how does Semiglutide work?

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. GLP-1 affects areas of the brain that help regulate appetite, thus is an appetite suppressant and will decrease the intake of food. Semaglutide also delays how quickly your stomach empties food, keeping you feeling full longer.

What is Tirzepatide and How Does Tirzepatide Work?

Tirzepatide is a dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. It works by targeting two hormone receptors involved in regulating blood sugar levels and appetite. Tirzepatide not only helps to suppress appetite by acting on areas of the brain that control hunger but also enhances the body’s natural insulin production and slows gastric emptying, keeping you feeling fuller for longer periods.
